Role Overview: As an Integrated Systems Optimization Engineer at Siemens Energy, you will be instrumental in enhancing efficiency, reliability, and innovation in industrial processes through the management and optimization of Integrated Management Systems (IMS). Your role will involve harnessing advanced technologies such as Python scripting, OPC UA, and data analytics to deliver top-notch solutions tailored to the specific needs of clients. Key Responsibilities: - Implement and oversee Integrated Management Systems, which encompass Automatic Shutdown Reports and Alarm & Events. - Create and deploy Python scripts to automate tasks, perform data analysis, and optimize systems. - Apply your expertise in OPC UA to ensure smooth communication among various devices and systems. - Develop data models that align with project goals, guaranteeing accuracy and availability of data. - Collaborate closely with engineering teams to establish system requirements and specifications. - Utilize data analytics to extract valuable insights and support decision-making processes effectively. Qualifications: - Possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline. - Demonstrate hands-on experience with PCS7 systems. - Familiarity with Integrated Management Systems (IMS), particularly Automatic Shutdown Reports, is a plus. - Proficient in Python programming for automation and data manipulation purposes. - Thorough understanding of OPC UA fundamentals within industrial settings. - Background in data science, encompassing data analysis, modeling, and visualization techniques. - Strong problem-solving capabilities and analytical skills, with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effectively communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
