The ideal candidate will play a key role in identifying and mitigating health hazards in the workplace, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a safe working environment through assessments, training, and program development. Key Responsibilities: 1. Hazard Identification: Detect and assess chemical, biological, physical, and ergonomic hazards in the work environment. 2. Exposure Assessment: Conduct air, noise, and surface sampling to determine worker exposure to hazardous agents. 3. Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze environmental monitoring data and prepare detailed reports with actionable insights. 4. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations such as OSHA, EPA, and NIOSH standards. 5. Control Measures: Develop and implement effective hazard control strategies including PPE, engineering controls, and safe work practices. 6. Training & Education: Provide training to employees on health hazards and preventive measures. 7. Incident Investigation: Assist in investigating work-related illnesses or exposures and recommend corrective actions. 8. Health Program Development: Collaborate with safety and health teams to design and improve workplace health programs. Required Skills: Solid understanding of industrial processes and occupational hazards Strong skills in risk assessment, data interpretation, and problem-solving In-depth knowledge of applicable health and safety regulations Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical reporting
