A. Hydrogen Manufacturing Operations Operate and monitor hydrogen generation systems (electrolysis/reformer/PSA units, depending on plant type). Check parameters such as pressure, temperature, purity, and flow rates. Perform routine start-up and shutdown operations of the manufacturing unit. Record operational data in logbooks or digital systems. B. Hydrogen Cylinder Filling Operations Carry out pre-filling inspection of cylinders (valves, threads, test dates, cleanliness). Ensure cylinders are evacuated/purged before filling, if required. Connect cylinders securely to the filling manifold. Fill hydrogen cylinders to correct pressure as per SOP (e.g., 150 bar / 200 bar). Monitor pressure gauges, temperature rise, and filling time. Conduct leak testing (soap solution/handheld leak detectors). Ensure quality and purity checks before and after filling. Update purity and batch records. Maintain cylinder traceability documentation. Prepare incident and near-miss reports when required. Qualifications & Experience Education: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical engineering. Experience: 13 years in industrial gas filling preferred (Hydrogen / Nitrogen / Oxygen). Familiarity with PESO regulations is an added advantage. 5. Physical Requirements Ability to handle cylinders and work in industrial environments. Comfortable with standing for long periods.
