Industrial Automation Engineer (PLC Programming)

As an Industrial Automation Engineer specializing in PLC Programming, your role involves designing, developing, and implementing automated systems to enhance efficiency, productivity, and safety in manufacturing and industrial processes. You will utilize your expertise in engineering, control systems, and technology to automate tasks and optimize operations. Key Responsibilities: - System Design & Development: - Design automated systems for production lines, manufacturing, and industrial processes. - Programming & Configuration: - Write and debug software for industrial machines and robotic systems. - Configure control systems and sensors to monitor and regulate industrial equipment. - Maintenance & Troubleshooting: - Provide maintenance and troubleshooting support for automated systems. - Diagnose faults and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime. - Project Management: - Manage automation projects, ensuring timely completion within budget. - Oversee the installation and commissioning of automated systems. - Documentation & Reporting: - Create technical documentation, user manuals, and system diagrams. - Maintain accurate records of system configurations and maintenance activities. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Power Electronics Engineering. - 1+ year of experience in Industrial Automation Engineering. - Proficiency in PLC programming, control systems, SCADA, HMI, and other industrial automation tools. - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. - Experience with software like PLC/HMI/SCADA Development tools and automation-specific tools (e.g., Siemens, Delta, Proface, Gefran). In addition to the technical responsibilities, this position requires immediate joiners located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. You should possess a B.E. in Electronics/Electrical or Instrumentation engineering and have at least 1 year of experience in industrial automation engineering and PLC programming. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including Provident Fund. The work schedule is during day shift, and the work location is in person.
