You will be joining AUGURAI, a Visual Inspection startup located in Trichy, focused on developing products to enhance Quality Assurance in manufacturing. Our projects lie at the crossroads of Optics, AI, Robotics, and Industrial Automation, collaborating with prominent manufacturing clients nationwide. As an Automation + AI Engineer (Mechatronics Engineer), your primary role will involve researching and implementing state-of-the-art Computer Vision algorithms for Visual Inspection applications in the manufacturing sector. This position is based in our Tiruchirappalli office, Tamil Nadu, welcoming applications from freshers in Mechatronics/Robotics Engineering with a proven background in Computer Vision. Your responsibilities will include working with control boards like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, NVIDIA Jetson series, showcasing proficiency in Python programming (with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience), showcasing a keen interest in manufacturing, and being open to hands-on work in machine building. Prior experience in PLC Programming will be advantageous, along with academic or project exposure to Computer Vision (Image Processing/Video Analytics), and a willingness to travel as needed.
