Key Responsibilities Architect and maintain REST / GraphQL APIs built with Node.js and Express.js. Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and indexes for high performance. Develop data ingestion and processing pipelines connecting multiple APIs and data sources. Implement secure authentication and authorization systems (JWT, OAuth, or wallet connect). Build microservice-based architecture with clean separation of concerns and modularity. Integrate caching layers (Redis or similar) and handle API rate-limiting. Collaborate closely with frontend, DevOps, and data teams to optimize end-to-end performance. Deploy and monitor services on AWS / Firebase / Docker environments. --- Required Skills Strong experience in Node.js, Express.js, and PostgreSQL (schema design, joins, indexing, query optimization). Solid understanding of TypeScript, async programming, and API architecture patterns. Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS / GCP deployments. Experience handling real-time data or event-driven systems (WebSockets, Pub/Sub). Knowledge of data validation, error handling, and secure API best practices.
