Program, set up, and operate Ace Micromatic VMCs with Fanuc controllers to produce precision parts as per drawings, ensuring quality, safety, and on-time delivery. Key Responsibilities: Read drawings (GD&T), plan machining sequence, select tools/holders, design basic fixtures. Create/optimize CNC programs (Fanuc G/M-code); offline CAM (Mastercam/Fusion 360) or on-control programming. Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, height gauge, bore gauge, CMM (preferred); record results (IP/OP/FP). Maintain SPC charts; correct process drifts and reduce rejection/rework. Routine maintenance: tool life tracking, lubrication, coolant concentration, chip management. Implement 5S & safety; adhere to ISO 9001/TS standards and internal SOPs. Document programs, setup sheets, tool lists; manage revision control and backups. Support Kaizen: cycle-time reduction, fixture/tooling improvements, and OEE uplift. Must-Have Skills: Hands-on with Fanuc controls (macro calls, canned cycles: G71/G72/G73/G83, helical, peck drilling, tapping). Strong knowledge of tooling (carbide end mills, face mills, inserts), holders, runout, and chip control. Work/Tool offset mastery, datum setting, trig & coordinates; safe tool paths & dry runs. Ability to read & apply GD&T tolerance stack basics. Troubleshooting: chatter, burrs, dimensional deviation, surface finish, and thermal growth. Good-to-Have: Exposure to aluminum, mild steel, tool steel, and stainless; coolant best practices (flood/MQL). Experience on Ace Micromatic VMC models (e.g., VMC-430/450 series). Qualifications & Experience: ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Production or equivalent. 2–5 years in VMC programming + operation (Fanuc); fresher with strong CAM skills may be considered. KPIs: First-pass yield, ppm rejection, cycle time vs. target, on-time delivery, tool cost per part, OEE, adherence to 5S & safety.
