The role involves receiving, issuing, and maintaining accurate records of construction materials such as steel, electrical items, plumbing materials, tools & consumables. The executive ensures that all materials are handled efficiently, accounted for properly, and supplied to site teams in a timely and safe manner. 🧱 Key Responsibilities: 1. Material Receipt & Verification Receive incoming construction materials and verify them against purchase orders and delivery challans. Check quantity and quality of materials as per specifications and inform the procurement or QA/QC team in case of discrepancies. Prepare and maintain Goods Received Notes (GRNs) and other receiving documents. 2. Assist in budgeting and forecasting material requirements. 5. Coordination Coordinate with Procurement, Accounts, and Site Engineers for material supply schedules. Communicate with vendors and transporters for timely delivery and documentation. Support auditors and project managers during stock inspections or material audits. 6. Compliance & Safety Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory norms, and audit requirements. Maintain cleanliness and safety at the store area.
