Individual Writer Consultant

Role Overview: As an Individual Writer Consultant based out of the UN Office in New Delhi, you will play a crucial role in supporting the country offices" fundraising and partnership communication goals. Your main responsibility will be to craft persuasive narratives that inspire individuals, foundations, and private sector partners to support life-changing work for children. This opportunity allows you to bring purpose and creativity together to create impactful content that motivates people to take action. Key Responsibilities: - Write, edit, and refine compelling content across digital and offline channels. - Collaborate closely with designers and marketing leads to conceptualize communication material that is emotionally resonant and conversion-driven. - Produce high-performing short- and long-form content for social media, websites, emails, reports, pitch decks, and donor engagement. - Maintain the Brand voice, tone, and brand consistency across all public-facing materials, aligned with the UN Organization's global style guide. - Meet tight deadlines with high-quality drafts and manage multiple iterations with agility. - Participate in content ideation and feedback loops to strengthen donor trust and partner engagement. Qualifications Required: - 5-8 years of experience in copywriting, preferably in a digital-first, ROI-driven environment. - Proven track record of producing high-impact copy that drives action. - Skilled in writing for various formats: short headlines, long-form storytelling, reports, etc. - Strong editing, proofreading, and adaptation skills. - Experience with fundraising or cause marketing is a plus. - Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Hindi or local context is advantageous. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Journalism, Advertising, or related field. Diploma holders with relevant experience are also welcome.
