JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES: Role Summary: The Deputy Director - Human Resources and Organisational Development (DD-HR&OD) is responsible for aligning human capital with the organization’s mission, driving HR strategies, and fostering a high-performing, inclusive workplace culture. This role oversees HR operations, talent management, compliance, and organizational development. While also providing oversight to HR and OD function across all locations, this role requires 30%-40% engagement with IHAT ’s UP programme directly and through Senior Manager HR and OD for specific initiatives. Key Responsibilities: (1) Legal Compliance & Risk Management: (a) Ensure adherence to all labor laws, employment regulations, and HR compliance mandates. (b) Collaborate with legal counsel on employee disputes, contract reviews, and workplace investigations. (c) Oversee HR audits, compliance reporting, and risk mitigation related to employment policies. (2) Strategic HR Leadership and Workforce Planning: (a) Design and implement HR strategies that align with organizational goals. (b) Lead awareness and training programs on sexual harassment prevention and gender equity. (c) Ensure documentation of all complaints and related documents are available with the Presiding Officer, its updates are included in the Board Meetings and annual reports filed in a timely and legally compliant manner. (10) Gender, Inclusion and Safeguarding: (a) Ensure gender and social inclusion in HR policies, hiring, and retention practices. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES: Reporting to the State Director, the Team Lead – Community Health and Outreach (TL-CHO) is a core leadership role within IHAT’s Madhya Pradesh portfolio, focused on transforming community health systems to reduce maternal and neonatal mortality, and strengthen comprehensive primary health care programs, including in the underserved tribal areas. With a deep sense of purpose and unwavering commitment, this role leads the strategy, design, and implementation of community health and outreach interventions, ensuring integration with facility and health system strengthening efforts. This position is instrumental in realizing IHAT’s vision of equitable health outcomes, working in close collaboration with the Government of Madhya Pradesh (GoMP), community-based organizations, and local leadership. The role demands a strong public health grounding, expertise in leading community-led and owned programming, dynamic leadership at various levels, cross-functional collaboration, and above all, a passion for building resilient strategies that center the voices and needs of marginalized communities. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES: Reporting to the Senior Public Health Expert , the Environmental Expert (EE) will serve as a key technical resource within the State Program Management Unit (SPMU), supporting the Government of Uttar Pradesh’s lead exposure mitigation initiatives. S/he will lead efforts to assess, analyze, and mitigate environmental lead contamination. This role includes conducting environmental assessments, analyzing exposure trends, and developing data-driven recommendations to inform policy and intervention strategies. The incumbent will also collaborate with stakeholders, support community education initiatives, and recommend regulatory measures to reduce lead exposure and safeguard public health. Key Job Responsibilities: (A) Environmental Assessments & Risk Analysis: (1) Lead the design and execution of environmental assessments to identify high-risk areas for lead exposure, including seasonal variations in contamination levels; (2) Collaborate with the designated institutions (e.g., RMLIMS) conducting lead exposure assessments and provide technical inputs; (3) Support developing and implementing assessments in prioritized areas, including soil, water, and paint testing, to assess lead contamination levels and exposure risks.
