Index Analyst

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain accurate indices for various financial instruments, including stocks, bonds, and derivatives.
• Analyze market trends and economic indicators to identify opportunities for index rebalancing and optimization.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers to design custom indexes that meet their investment objectives.
• Monitor and report on index performance, identifying areas for improvement.

Job Requirements :

• 2-8 years of experience in indexing or related field (e.g., asset management).
• Strong understanding of finance, economics, and statistical analysis principles.
• Proficiency in Python programming language or similar tools (e.g., R).
• Experience working with large datasets and ability to analyze complex data sets.
