Use this information to position the company's retreading products effectively, highlighting quality and cost-efficiency. b) Expand the customer base by identifying new business opportunities and partnerships across Maharashtra, particularly in transportation hubs and industrial areas. 4) Reporting and Forecasting Revenue Targets: a) Provide management with regular reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends. b) An excellent command over sales / product forecasting. c) Set and achieve sales targets for the Mumbai & Maharashtra region along with addressing business challenge Preferred Candidate Profile: a) 4-9 years of experience in sales of preferably in the tyre, lubricant, auto ancillary, battery, retreading products manufacturing companies. b) Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. c) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets. d) Bachelor's degree/MBA Degree in a relevant field (e.g. Sales or Marketing Business Administration). e) Channel Appointment. f) Geographic Knowledge. g) Tyre Industry Experience. h) Market Knowledge.
Role & responsibilities 1. Strategic Planning & Budgeting Prepare annual material procurement plans with complete expense budgets. Develop strategies for domestic & international sourcing. Monitor market trends, pricing, vendor capacity, and material availability. Identify cost-saving opportunities and support pricing committees. 2. Procurement Management Decide optimum supply mix ensuring uninterrupted and cost-effective material supply. Raise, review, and approve POs as per financial authority. Evaluate material requirements and highlight consumption efficiencies. Ensure delivered materials match approved samples and quality standards. 3. Vendor & Supplier Management Identify and develop new domestic and overseas suppliers. Establish vendor evaluation, accreditation, and quality processes. Oversee supplier audits and drive improvements in processes and technology. Build and maintain strong vendor relationships for long-term support. 4. Cost Control & Commercial Negotiation Lead supplier negotiations for best pricing, credit terms, and service levels. Reduce procurement, warehousing, logistics, and shipping costs. Manage working capital effectively and ensure competitive bidding. 5. Import & Logistics Management Plan and ensure timely international procurement as per import schedule. Ensure compliance with import/export documentation and standards. Optimize air/sea freight charges and evaluate logistics channels. 6. MIS, Reporting & Analysis Review MIS for pricing, material management, vendor quality, and logistics. Present monthly cost-saving reports to senior management. Monitor slow-moving/non-moving materials, shelf-life stock, and inter-site transfers. 7. Team Leadership Lead & mentor executives in purchasing, logistics, and data entry roles. Conduct performance appraisals, identify training needs, and maintain team productivity. Create a positive, disciplined, and growth-oriented work culture. Preferred candidate profile Experience: 610 years in Purchase/Procurement with minimum 2 years in a managerial role; must have worked independently in a start-up/fast-paced environment . Industry: Electrical (80%) / Electronics (20%)/ Automobile. Education: Graduate in Commerce/Engineering; MBA in SCM/Procurement preferred . Location: Noida. Technical Skills: Procurement of electrical, electronic & mechanical materials. Knowledge of SCM, MRP, ERP, vendor audits, imports, LC/BG, HSN codes & logistics. Ability to manage foreign vendors and technical-commercial negotiations. Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, planning & problem-solving abilities. Good communication in English & Hindi. Agile, detail-oriented, quick learner with a hands-on approach. High ownership; capable of setting up processes and managing end-to-end procurement without a team .
