a. Responsibilities : * Answer to the parents queries and concerns about the new born babies. * Check the baby temperature regularly. * Change diapers and feed the baby from time to time. * Administer medicines as per the doctor’s prescription * To take care of the babies round the clock. * Keep the parents updated about the baby’s progress. * Work in the neonatal intensive care unit and look after infants in incubators or on ventilators. * Supervise the staffs in NICU * To coordinate infection control program and fumigation protocols in department. * To ensure cleanliness of all apparatus, equipment, furniture etc. * Carrying on the duties assigned by the Senior Staff Nurse. * Also handle wards as and when required
