Strong understanding of high availability, clustering, and disaster recovery strategies for databases. Experience with CI/CD workflows and automated deployment strategies. Solid Linux administration skills. Certifications in relevant database technologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator, AWS Certified Database - Specialty, PostgreSQL certifications). Demonstrable expertise in cloud-based data lake architectures (e.g., AWS S3 with Lake Formation/Glue, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, GCP Cloud Storage with Dataproc/BigQuery). Proven experience with modern data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery, Synapse Analytics). Solid programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java, with experience in developing data processing applications (e.g., Spark). Hands-on experience with big data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Hive, Presto/Trino). Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have): Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
