Role & responsibilities

2 - 4 years experience working as Medical Coder (Anesthesia and Pain Management).
Accuracy and Attention to Details.
Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
Analytical Skills.
Fluent verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with coding software and electronic health records (EHR).
Organizational skills to manage time and tasks efficiently.
Problem solving skills: Capability to identify and resolve discrepancies or issues in coding.

Experience with Denial and ASC Management:
Familiarity with handling and resolving claim denials.
Independence:
Ability to handle simple and complex tasks with minimal supervision or guidance.
Customer Service Skills:
Providing clear and helpful information to healthcare providers and patients regarding coding and billing inquiries.
Critical Thinking:
Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
Audit Experience:
Familiarity with conducting or participating in coding audits for quality assurance.

Certification:
Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification required.
