Senior Quality Control Engineer Do you want to be part of a dynamic and innovative engineering team that produces high-quality products and processes? As a Senior Quality Control Engineer, you will oversee and implement quality control procedures, conduct inspections, and provide technical expertise to improve product quality. This role requires strong technical, analytical, and communication skills, as well as a thorough knowledge of quality standards and best practices. Senior Quality Control Engineer Responsibilities 1. Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations. 2. Conduct thorough inspections and tests on raw materials, components, and final products to identify any defects or deviations from specifications. 3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. 4. Lead root cause analysis investigations for quality issues and implement preventive measures to minimize risks of recurrence. 5. Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement. Prepare reports and present findings to management. 6. Design and maintain quality documentation, including inspection procedures, work instructions, and quality control plans. 7. Provide technical guidance and support to production teams to ensure adherence to quality control standards and processes. 8. Train and mentor junior quality control engineers to develop their skills and knowledge. 9. Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory requirements related to quality control to continuously improve processes and procedures. 10.Collaborate with suppliers and contractors to ensure quality requirements are met for outsourced products and services. Senior Quality Control Engineer Required Skills 1. In-depth knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools. 2. Proficient in conducting inspections and tests using various measurement tools and equipment. 3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers. 4. Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to quality control. 5. Strong leadership and mentoring skills to guide and develop junior engineers. 6. Familiarity with quality management systems and documentation. Required Qualifications 1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. 2. Proven experience as a Quality Control Engineer or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment. 3. Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality management system standards. 4. Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. 5. Proficient in using quality control tools and techniques, such as root cause analysis, failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA), and statistical process control (SPC) 6. Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies and tools is a plus. 7. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques. 8. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. 9.Strong organizational and time management skills.
