We are looking to hire an experienced café manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our café. The café manager’s responsibilities include processing payments using the café's Point of Sale System, making bank deposits, and ensuring that the café is clean and well-presented at all times. You should also be able to oversee the maintenance and repair of café equipment. To be successful as a café manager, you should demonstrate exemplary management and leadership skills and ensure that the café staff carries out all duties efficiently. Ultimately, an exceptional café manager should be able to achieve excellent customer service. Responsibilities Recruiting, training, and supervising café staff. Preparing weekly work schedules for staff and finding suitable replacements in cases of staff absence. Ensuring that all café expenses are within budget and identifying ways to decrease operational costs. Receiving delivered café supplies and verifying that the correct items and quantities have been delivered. Taking inventory of café supplies and ordering new stock as needed. Resolving customer complaints regarding food quality and customer service. Suggesting new menu items based on customers' preferences and feedback. Identifying strategies to retain and attract customers. Requirements High school diploma or GED. Bachelor's degree or certification in business administration or business management is advantageous. Proven management experience in the hospitality industry. A food handler's license. Sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations. Strong business acumen. Exemplary management skills. We are looking to hire a resourceful commodity manager to join our company. In this role, you'll oversee the purchase of commodities, update our inventory strategy, and liaise with suppliers to ensure the stability of our supply chain. You will also ensure that project-approved budgets are adhered to. To ensure success as a commodity manager, you should have strong business acumen and excellent knowledge of commodity markets. Ultimately, a top-notch commodity manager should be able to effectively navigate market risks to help the business reach its commodity goals. Responsibilities Managing the company supply chain by sourcing, reviewing, and purchasing commodities. Updating inventory strategies where needed to increase sales and manage stock quantities. Evaluating, selecting, and recommending new vendors to management. Negotiating favorable prices and terms of purchase to maximize best commodity sourcing practices. Building and maintaining good relationships with commodity suppliers and distributors. Studying market trends and identifying any risks when sourcing and procuring commodities. Ensuring that project-approved budgets are adhered to. Supervising department personnel when they prepare contracts and purchase orders. Resolving vendor disputes and any commodity-related issues. Requirements  Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, economics, or a similar field. At least four years' experience in supply chain or commodity management. Solid knowledge of financial markets that influence commodity prices. Experience working with commodity trading and risk management software, such as iRely and Allegro. Good negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with vendors and suppliers. Advanced analytical skills.
