Job description Job Summary: The Business Development Executive (Pharmaceutical Exports) will identify and develop new business opportunities in international markets, build and maintain client relationships, and ensure compliance with international regulatory requirements. The candidate will work to expand the company’s presence globally while ensuring quality, timeliness, and cost efficiency in the export process. Key Responsibilities: Market Research & Strategy : Conduct thorough market research to identify potential international markets and customers for pharmaceutical products. Analyze trends, market demands, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities. Develop and execute strategies to penetrate new markets and strengthen existing ones. Business Development : Identify and onboard distributors, importers, and partners in target markets. Negotiate and finalize contracts, agreements, and business terms with international clients. Drive sales and achieve revenue targets by promoting pharmaceutical products. Regulatory Compliance : Ensure all export activities comply with international pharmaceutical regulations. Coordinate with the regulatory team to prepare and submit dossiers for product registration in various countries. Customer Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients, distributors, and stakeholders. Provide post-sales support and ensure high levels of client satisfaction. Documentation & Logistics Coordination : Oversee export documentation such as invoices, certificates of origin, and shipping documents. Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure smooth and timely product delivery. Brand Promotion : Represent the company at international expos, conferences, and trade fairs to promote pharmaceutical products. Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional material tailored to international audiences. Reporting & Analysis : Provide regular reports on market performance, sales growth, and business opportunities. Analyze sales data to measure progress against business development goals. Key Qualifications: Education : Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree (MBA) is preferred. Experience : Minimum 3-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical exports, international sales, or business development. Knowledge : Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations, export procedures, and global healthcare markets. Familiarity with international trade compliance and documentation.
