The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with NetBackup Appliances, scripting for automation, and a strong understanding of storage, networking, and cloud backup solutions. Key Responsibilities: Administer Veritas NetBackup, including backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.Deploy, configure, and maintain NetBackup Flex Appliances and NetBackup Access Appliances. Automate backup tasks, log analysis, and system monitoring using Bash, PowerShell, or Python. Manage Docker-based NetBackup instances and perform Linux system administration. Troubleshoot storage configurations, networking protocols, and connectivity issues. Implement RBAC, encryption, and security monitoring to ensure compliance and data protection. Design hybrid backup solutions using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Optimize backup strategies for VMware and other virtualization technologies.Configure firewalls, access controls, and integrate with Active Directory (AIED AD), CyberArk, etc.Develop and execute disaster recovery plans for business continuity.
