Role & responsibilities Graduate in Civil Engineering with minimum 15 years of work experience of which minimum 5 years shall be as a Team Leader in the supervision of construction of similar works. Graduation from IIT / NIT is mandatory. Preferred candidate profile Working experience is required on procurement based on internationally accepted standards, such as World Bank, Asian Development Bank or JICA.Job responsibilities shall include but not be limited to the following: • Overall responsibility for construction work to ensure that all contractual requirements are met by the Contractor including those in relation to quality of the works, safety and environmental protection. • Monitor and ensure that approved quality assurance system is in place and adhered to by the Contractor. • Monitor and ensure that approved safety plans are in place and adhered to by the Contractor. • Monitor and ensure that approved environmental management plans & compliances are in place and adhered to by the Contractor. • Conduct management level meetings with the Contractor and keep minutes of the same. • Liaise & coordinate with and report to the Employer. • Coordinate with Project Manager & General Consultant on all site matters. • Advise in preparation of operation and maintenance manuals. • Ensure that the staff assigned on the job is in accordance with the required standard.
