Purpose of Time Bank: The Alumni Time Bank proposed here will enable alumni to contribute their time in various capacities. Alumni may choose to contribute one week per year for three years, one month every three years, or three months once every five years. The involvement of alumni through the bank can take many forms, some examples of involvement include: (a) Mentorship for startups. (b) Applying their engineering skills to solve real-world problems. (c) Spending time with current students to share positive future outlooks. (d) Introducing students to lesser-known opportunities, such as engineering in agriculture. (e) Assisting with quizzes, exam preparation, and tutoring ongoing coursework. (f) Working with existing student, IITB alumni or staff/faculty at IITB. Position Overview: (a)This position involves program development, alumni engagement, and administrative responsibilities to ensure the program’s growth and impact. Key Responsibilities: 1. Administration & Governance: Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth functioning of program and services. Support the donor’s and various committees by preparing reports, scheduling meetings, and documenting minutes. 2. Program Management: Close coordination with IIT Bombay Student Community Collaborate with volunteers and committees to enhance engagement and Alumni participation. 3. Membership & Community Engagement: Manage alumni mentorship programs, maintaining accurate records and databases. Closely work on Alumni Database Management Maintain and update alumni records with contact details, career progress, achievements, and contributions. Ensure data accuracy and security in the Alumni Time Bank. Qualifications & Skills: Master’s degree in business administration, nonprofit management, communications, or a related field. 7-8 years of experience in operations, administration, or program management, preferably in a nonprofit or alumni-related organization. Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to multitask. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and digital marketing tools. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
