This is a senior academic and strategic leadership role responsible for advancing the universitys research ecosystem, academic excellence, and institutional collaborations. The ideal candidate will lead research, consultancy, and academic initiatives with a strong focus on health management, public health, policy, and innovation. Experience: Minimum 20 years of academic, research, and leadership experience in healthcare, public health, or health systems management Proven track record in: Leading academic programs Publishing in peer-reviewed journals Securing competitive research grants Managing cross-functional teams Collaborating with industry and government bodies Key Responsibilities: Academic Leadership & Strategy Provide strategic direction for academic programs in health management and public health Drive curriculum innovation and accreditation processes Foster integration of emerging technologies into education Research & Innovation Lead high-impact research, publications, and policy studies Build and manage Centers of Excellence in health systems and epidemiology Secure research funding from national/international bodies Faculty & Student Development Mentor and build high-performing faculty teams Promote international collaborations, student research, and innovation culture Encourage entrepreneurship and healthcare incubation Industry & Institutional Collaborations Strengthen industry, government, and academic partnerships Develop MoUs with national and global institutions Lead executive education and healthcare consulting programs Administration & Compliance Oversee budget planning, resource allocation, and infrastructure development Ensure compliance with UGC, NAAC, NIRF, and global accreditation standards Drive digital transformation in healthcare education Community Engagement & Representation Represent IIHMR at national/international forums, policy events, and health summits Organize academic conferences and public health leadership dialogues
