About the Role We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to handle day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accuracy in financial records, and support monthly and annual closing and reporting activities. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and financial analysis. Key Responsibilities Record daily financial transactions, including journals, receipts, and payments. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently. Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and balance sheet accounts. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Support month-end and year-end closing processes. Assist in GST/VAT and other tax filings, ensuring timely compliance. Maintain the fixed asset register and update depreciation schedules. Provide necessary documentation and support during internal and external audits. Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets and accounting software records accurately. Required Qualifications & Skills Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com/BBA) or equivalent. Experience: 1–4 years of relevant accounting experience. Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP. Strong attention to detail, organizational ability, and communication skills. Good knowledge of local tax laws and statutory compliance requirements.
