IGCSE, AS & A Level Physics Facilitator

We have a requirement for an innovative and qualified candidates to join our Faculty in the position of Physics Facilitator. The desired candidate should be a Post Graduate in the respective field, who is hard working and enthusiastic with minimum 5 years’ teaching experience and at least 2 Years in the Cambridge Curriculum. He / She should possess a sound understanding of the IGCSE / AS / A level curriculum and have a passion for the subject.

The position will involve teaching students of Grade 8 -12. The applicant should be a motivated and result oriented individual with a keen interest to encourage and inspire students to excel in Physics.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. To develop engaging and effective strategy to motivate, inspire and handle classes in Physics for Senior School in the Cambridge Curriculum.

2. To be highly committed, disciplined, focused on result and child progress.

3. To encourage the students to be actively engaged in self-learning and review their progress on a weekly basis.

4. To check that the subject matter is effectively communicated and understood by the learners.

5. To guide the learners in any projects related to Physics.

6. To keep records of learner's progress in line with our curriculum framework.

7. To guide and train the learners from an examination point of view.

8. To prepare and implement a result oriented CDP.

9. To conduct regular tests to evaluate the subject knowledge of the Learner.

10. To keep track and assist to improve the Academic performance of the learners and provide regular update to the Coordinator.

11. To give suggestions regarding the effective remedial methods to be followed.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

Master’s degree in Physical Science or related field

IGCSE , AS and A level experience in teaching for at least 2 years is mandatory
Should have an idea of checkpoint examinations.Should be acquainted with the CIE syllabus.Should know the paper pattern for the relevant subject and Marking Scheme.

Should have experience in Teaching Grade 9 to 12 Grade (Cambridge Syllabus).

Should possess a knowledge of the relevant resources.
Should be willing to undergo the periodical Training sessions by The Cambridge board.

Should possess excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills.
