IGCSE AS / A level Math's teacher

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Mathematics teacher to teach Cambridge IGCSE and AS/A Level Mathematics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics, experience in the Cambridge curriculum, and the ability to inspire students to excel academically while fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Mathematics to students of Grades 9–12 (IGCSE & AS/A Level)
• Prepare and deliver engaging lessons as per the Cambridge curriculum (Extended and Core at IGCSE; Pure Math, Mechanics, Statistics for AS/A Level)
• Develop and implement lesson plans, schemes of work, and assessments
• Use varied teaching methods and tools (technology, activities, differentiated instruction) to meet individual student needs
• Track and report on student progress through regular formative and summative assessments
• Prepare students for the IGCSE and AS/A Level board examinations, including conducting mock exams and remedial sessions
• Maintain up-to-date records of students' academic progress and attendance
• Participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development workshops
• Collaborate with other subject teachers and departments to create interdisciplinary learning opportunities
• Create a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or related field
• B.Ed. or a teaching qualification (preferred but not mandatory)
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in IGCSE and AS/A Level Math (Cambridge curriculum)
• Strong knowledge of the CAIE syllabus (Mathematics 0580, 9709, etc.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Bangalore, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
