IFS Cloud Engineer

As a Controls Engineer, your role will involve designing, programming, troubleshooting, maintaining, and updating PLC-based systems using the Codesys development platform. You will need to understand new and changing requirements, analyze existing code, and translate functional requirements into PLC programs. Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing interlocks and safety mechanisms in Electrical and Energy Management Systems. Key Responsibilities: - Hands-on experience in developing applications, integrating systems, testing, and troubleshooting SoftPLC/HMI/DCS using the Codesys development platform. - Proficiency in program development using Structured Text (ST) and ExST under Codesys Automation Server and scripting. - Understanding of standard notations used in electrical systems. - Experience with industrial protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, EthernetIP, and DNP3. - Setting up and integrating with OPC Server and OPC Client. - Exposure to GIT for source code control. Qualifications Required: - BE/B Tech/MCA/M Tech In addition to the technical responsibilities, an ideal candidate for this position should have a minimum of 3+ years of experience.
