Collaborate with tech/product teams to embed credit flows into iFarmer’s digital systems (e.g., Sofol). Enable real-time portfolio visibility and customer-level risk segmentation. Risk & Portfolio Management Establish robust credit risk assessment models that leverage iFarmer’s farmer and transaction data. Oversee loan monitoring, collections, and recovery processes. Maintain portfolio default rates within agreed thresholds. Monitor delinquency, NPL ratios, and repayment behavior, taking corrective actions swiftly. Build early warning systems, collection frameworks, and recovery SOPs. Customer Understanding & Insights Deeply understand agri stakeholders farmers, retailers, suppliers and their financial behavior. Translate insights into product design, user onboarding, repayment systems, and financial education strategies. Champion customer-centric innovation with risk-aligned product decisions. Operational Planning & Execution Build and manage the financing operations team (credit ops, collections, risk, and partnerships). Design SOPs for credit disbursement, monitoring, and reconciliation. Forecast financing needs in alignment with seasonality, input demand, and trade cycles. Lead the financial services team, ensuring strong execution from loan origination to repayment. Implement scalable processes and technology systems for credit operations. Ensure full compliance with regulatory and internal governance requirements. Requirements 8–12 years of experience in fintech, SME lending, agri-finance, or B2B trade financing. Proven ability to design and scale financial products in emerging or rural markets Strong grasp of risk management, credit operations, and scoring frameworks. Understanding of agri value chains, rural behaviour, and informal transaction systems. Prior experience with banks, NBFIs, MFIs, or alternate lenders is a plus.
