Role Summary This is a senior architectural role that will focus on the modernisation, security hardening, and scalability of our cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for leading infrastructure design, improving reliability and performance, and supporting compliance efforts. Key Responsibilities Audit and optimise our current AWS setup (EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront, IAM, etc.) Design and implement a secure, scalable multi-region SaaS architecture Establish and maintain clear separation between Development , Staging , UAT , and Production environments Implement AWS best practices for security, backup, monitoring, high availability, and disaster recovery Collaborate on SOC 2 and GDPR compliance efforts through infrastructure design Optimise cost and performance using native AWS tools (e.g. CloudWatch, Cost Explorer, Trusted Advisor, GuardDuty) Maintain up-to-date infrastructure documentation and onboarding playbooks Support CI/CD implementation and DevOps automation using tools such as CodePipeline , CodeBuild , and CloudFormation/Terraform Required Skills & Experience AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional (preferred) or Associate 5+ years of hands-on AWS experience in a SaaS or cloud-native environment Proven experience designing and operating multi-tenant SaaS platforms Deep understanding of VPC architecture, IAM policies, networking, load balancing , and security best practices Experience with ECS/EKS , Lambda , and API Gateway Strong knowledge of RDS, Aurora , and database scalability solutions Familiarity with security and compliance standards such as SOC 2 , ISO 27001 , and GDPR Experience building and optimising CI/CD pipelines Excellent communication and technical documentation skills Nice to Have Experience with infrastructure as code (CloudFormation, Terraform) Exposure to security tooling (e.g. AWS Config, Security Hub, Inspector) Experience working in a startup or early-stage product environment Why Join Us?
