Company Description The IEEE EMBS MUST Chapter is a student organization that operates under the supervision of IEEE, distinctively focusing on the intersection of engineering, medicine, and biology. Our primary goal is to cultivate a passion for innovation and novel ideas among students interested in engineering and medical disciplines. We aim to spread awareness about the EMBS society and its mission, encouraging students to explore the exciting field of biomedical engineering. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Biomedical Engineer located in Guwahati. The Biomedical Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and calibrating medical equipment, resolving technical issues, and ensuring the clinical functionality of biomedical devices. Daily tasks will include equipment maintenance, performing preventive maintenance, and working closely with healthcare professionals to support clinical engineering functions. Qualifications Knowledge of Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance Expertise in Medical Equipment and Biomedical Engineering Experience in Clinical Engineering Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field Experience in the healthcare or medical device industry is a plus
