Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Field Application Engineer at ICON Design Automation Pvt. Ltd. The Field Application Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support to sales teams, developing and executing strategies for customer acquisition, assisting clients with product selection, and conducting customer training and product demonstrations. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics/Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering/ RF and Microwave Engineering. 5+ yrs relevant industry experience. Knowledge of at least one of the RFMW EDA tools like Cadence AWR, CST Studio Suite, HFSS, ADS, etc is required. Responsibilities: Support customers in government DRDO labs as well as private industries for their designs in the RF and Microwave domain pertaining to, but not limited to passive and active components(amplifiers, filters, etc.), T/R Modules, Radars, antenna arrays, etc. using Cadence AWR and SIMULIA CST Studio Suite. Prepare step-by-step documentation to be delivered for training or supporting the customer in his design. Traveling to customer premises for training and support. Ability to work on multiple projects/queries at a time
