Theideal candidate will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of middleware solutions, ensuringbestpractices,security,andhighperformance.Therolerequires strong technical expertise, customerinteraction, andthe ability todrivemiddleware strategy and architecture. KeyResponsibilities: Leadthedesign,development, andimplementationofIBMAPIConnect (APIC), IBMAppConnectEnterprise (ACE), and IBMDataPowersolutions. Workdirectlywithcustomers andstakeholderstounderstandrequirements, providebest practices, and architectsolutions. Ensure the security,scalability, andperformance ofAPI andintegration solutions. DefineandenforcegovernancemodelsforAPIandintegrationplatform management. Optimizemiddleware performance throughmonitoring,tuning, and troubleshooting. Providetechnicalleadershipandmentorshiptotheteam. Collaborate with cross-functionalteamsincluding application developers, infrastructure teams, and security architects. Drive automation in API lifecyclemanagement, deployment, andmonitoring. Ensure compliance with industry standards,security protocols, and enterprise architecture guidelines. Actasan SMEtorecommendmiddlewarearchitectureimprovements and enhancements. Primary Skills: 12+ yearsof experience inmiddlewaretechnologieswitha strong focuson IBM APIC, ACE, and DataPower. Expertisein designing,developing, andsecuringAPIs andintegrations. StrongknowledgeofREST, SOAP,XML,JSON,OAuth,JWT,andTLS. Hands-on experience with API lifecyclemanagement,microservices architecture, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift). Experience with Enterprise Service Bus(ESB) andmessage-based integrations. SolidunderstandingofDevOpspractices,CI/CDpipelines, andautomation tools. Stronganalyticalandtroubleshootingskillsforresolvingcomplex integration issues. Excellent communication and customer-facing skills. Ability to document best practices, guidelines, and solution architectures. Experiencewithcloud-based integrations(AWS,Azure,GCP)is aplus. Secondary Skills Bachelor'sorMaster'sdegreeinComputerScience,InformationTechnology, or a related field. IBMCertifiedDeveloper/ArchitectinAPIC,ACE, orDataPowerispreferred.
