IBM i Series Developer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for identifying and resolving issues within AS400 applications promptly. Additionally, you will be implementing bug fixes and enhancements to existing applications, performing regular maintenance tasks to optimize system performance and security, and working on projects to modernize the user interface or functionalities of legacy AS400 applications. You will also be developing web services or APIs to enable legacy systems to integrate with newer technologies and participating in data migration projects to move data from the AS400 platform to newer systems. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and resolve issues within AS400 applications promptly. - Implement bug fixes and enhancements to existing applications. - Perform regular maintenance tasks to optimize system performance and security. - Work on projects to modernize the user interface or functionalities of legacy AS400 applications. - Develop web services or APIs to enable legacy systems to integrate with newer technologies. - Participate in data migration projects to move data from the AS400 platform to newer systems. Qualifications Required: - 2+ years of relevant experience. - Proficiency in RPG, CLLE, and CL (Control Language).
