The role of IB UK Trading, NCT at Deutsche Bank in Bangalore, India is a critical and demanding position that involves providing Middle Office support to the London/Frankfurt secondary Loan Trading desk under Investment Banking. The primary focus is on Syndicated Loans within the Loan Trading team in India. As part of this role, you will be responsible for managing all middle office functions related to the loan trade lifecycle, including trade support for various businesses such as Transport, Infrastructure & Energy (TIE), Commercial Real Estate (CRE), and Distressed Product Group (DPG) desk. This role requires constant interaction with Traders, Sales, Finance, Agent Banks, and Clients. The key responsibilities of this position include managing Trade Support Functions by ensuring accurate static set up of clients in Loan IQ System, trade closing functions involving trade booking, documentation processes, portfolio management, pricing, and fee management. Additionally, you will be required to handle corporate actions, resolve pre-settlement discrepancies, and address ad-hoc requests received from the Trading desk. To excel in this role, candidates should possess a Bachelor's or post-graduation degree in Finance, along with 1-3 years of relevant work experience. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as a good understanding of the Syndicated loan market, secondary loan trading, and Loan Market Association (LMA) Market. Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, is a strong plus.
