IAM & Okta specialist

Job Title: IAM & Okta Tech SpecialistCompany Name: Sony India Software CentreAs an IAM & Okta Tech Specialist at Sony India Software Centre, you will be responsible for managing and implementing Identity and Access Management solutions using Okta. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and support IAM solutions that ensure secure access to applications and data. The role demands a strong understanding of identity management principles, security protocols, and user authentication methods.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement Okta identity solutions to streamline user provisioning and de-provisioning.
• Configure and manage Okta applications, including SSO and MFA integrations.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to define and enforce IAM policies and best practices.
• Provide technical support for Okta-related issues and troubleshoot any access or authentication problems.
• Monitor IAM systems for performance and security compliance, ensuring adherence to company policies.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of IAM security controls and processes.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to identity and access management.
  

Skills And Tools Required

• Strong expertise in Okta, including application integration, SSO, and MFA.
• Proficient in identity management concepts, identity federation, and access control mechanisms.
• Familiarity with security protocols such as SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
• Experience with directory services such as Active Directory or LDAP.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or scripting languages for automation tasks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address IAM challenges.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
