As a Supply Chain Manager (Chief Manager) for our company based in Gurgaon (HQ), you will be responsible for overseeing various aspects such as bidding, tendering, proposal management, and supply chain activities related to HVDC Substation projects. With 12 to 18 years of experience in the field, you should have a strong background in working exclusively on High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) Substation supply chain management, including procurement, tendering, and purchasing activities. Your role will also entail having exposure to Electrical Substations and being willing to travel to foreign countries as necessary. The ideal candidate for this position would hold a degree in BE/BTech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related fields, and possess excellent communication skills along with a team player attitude. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and implementing a supply strategy aimed at reducing costs, optimizing inventory levels, and enhancing customer satisfaction through superior service. You will be expected to cultivate lasting partnerships with our factories and suppliers, manage purchase orders, adjust purchase patterns, and oversee shipment and production schedules to ensure timely deliveries. In addition, you will be tasked with evaluating vendor performance to guarantee the best cost, highest quality, and on-time deliveries. The successful candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, have at least 12 years of supply chain experience, and demonstrate strong negotiation and influencing skills to excel in this role.,
