Role & responsibilities Job Title: Senior Sales Engineer HVAC Department: Sales & Marketing Location: Bangalore Reporting To: Sales Manager / Regional Head Experience Required: 5+ years in HVAC sales or related engineering field Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Engineer with a strong technical background in HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and providing technically sound solutions that meet customer requirements. Key Responsibilities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in commercial, residential, and industrial HVAC sectors. Conduct site visits, analyze customer needs, and provide appropriate HVAC solutions. Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals to clients and consultants. Build and maintain strong relationships with MEP consultants, contractors, architects, and key decision-makers. Collaborate with internal engineering, design, and project execution teams to ensure alignment and client satisfaction. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and new technologies. Provide post-sales technical support and help manage key accounts. Achieve sales targets, prepare forecasts, and submit regular sales reports to management. Required Qualifications: Minimum Qualification: B.Tech Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in HVAC sales or technical support. Deep understanding of HVAC products such as chillers, AHUs, AWUs, Ventilation systems etc. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Proficiency in reading and interpreting HVAC drawings and specifications. Familiarity with local HVAC codes, standards, and energy efficiency requirements. Proficient in MS Office; experience with CRM tools is a plus. Willingness to travel as required. Additional : Certification in HVAC design or energy management (ASHRAE, LEED, etc.).
