HVAC Designer

Role Overview: As an HVAC Designer, your main responsibility will be to design HVAC systems for various projects using CAD/BIM software. You will need to ensure that the designs comply with local and international standards while collaborating with other engineering disciplines. Key Responsibilities: - Design and layout HVAC systems including ductwork, piping, and equipment placement. - Prepare detailed HVAC design drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or other software. - Conduct load calculations and energy analysis utilizing tools like HAP or Carrier. - Coordinate designs with other engineering disciplines such as electrical, plumbing, and structural. - Ensure that designs meet relevant codes, standards, and client specifications. - Assist site teams during installation, testing, and commissioning phases. - Create material specifications and bill of quantities (BOQ). Qualifications Required: - Diploma/Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and HVAC design software. - Strong knowledge of ASHRAE standards and local building codes. - Experience with HVAC load calculation and duct design tools. - Good communication and teamwork skills.
