HVAC Design Engineers

As a Design/Senior HVAC Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our dynamic design team based in Bangalore. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver HVAC design packages efficiently within the allocated budget and schedule while maintaining high standards of quality and coordination. You will be involved in a diverse range of projects spanning commercial, retail, healthcare, residential, and high-rise developments. Your key responsibilities will include leading and executing HVAC design scope elements in accordance with project schedules and budgets. You will be tasked with developing concept, schematic, and detailed designs for HVAC systems in various building types. Collaborating with the project team, you will provide space planning and HVAC system layouts. Additionally, you will oversee and mentor junior engineers and draftsmen to ensure the accuracy and quality of design deliverables. Producing design documents, conducting HVAC system calculations, and selecting appropriate equipment will also be integral parts of your role. To excel in this position, you must hold a B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 4 to 13 years of total experience, including a minimum of 3 to 6 years of proven experience in Gulf design projects. Proficiency in HVAC system design and planning is essential, along with hands-on experience in tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, HAP, and BIM360. A strong understanding of HVAC systems like district cooling, VRV, and ventilation systems is required, coupled with a thorough knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations such as ASHRAE and SMACNA. Apart from technical skills, excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) are necessary for effective coordination with multidisciplinary teams. Strong leadership qualities and the ability to work independently or collaboratively are also key soft skills that will enhance your performance in this role.,
