Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Drive and Monitor efficiency improvement projects and evaluate cost savings. Support multiskilling technicians through effective trainings and OJTs. Provide technical clarifications and dispositions in line with Drawings and Fit, Form and Function. Develop error proof processes to eliminate rework and scrap. Drive on time updating of Drawing revisions and train the team with changes. Create Work instructions. Create Process Sheets. Process FEMAs & Control plans. Fault Tree Analysis Value Stream Mapping Creates Inspection Sheets Work with Engineering to correct prints and develop sound execution of consistent work Habits. Experience in New Product Development & Product Transition Create proposals and interact with customers. Perform Calibration of Load cells and Industrial sensors as required. Design various types of manufacturing fixtures and process aids. Design, develop and test instrumentation projects. Develop and release manufacturing drawings in CAD (2D and 3D) utilizing Autodesk Inventor Troubleshoot and resolve internal instrumentation integration issues. Develop product instruction sheets or manuals. Drive updates to fixtures, load cells, and certification equipment. Check and detail prints using GD&T Check parts for fit and function. Drive continuous improvement through developing more efficient production processes. Assist clients in increasing productivity within their processes and operations by applying lean principles. Observe operations, collect data and perform process validation and maintain necessary documentation. Use various problem-solving methodologies to identify the root causes of problems so that process improvements can be developed/recommended to eliminate the root causes. Utilize time study and predetermined labor standards systems for establishing labor standards, developing standardized work, and balancing production processes. Develop conceptual facility planning layouts in CAD (typically AutoCAD) to create efficient process and material flow through systematic layout planning principles to ensure proper size, shape, and configuration of a proposed facility. Develop ROIs and capital expenditure plans for operational improvements. Perform cost studies, economic comparisons, and justification analysis. Confer with customers and vendors to implement plans and recommendations. Often required to provide on-site support during implementation activities. Assist other departments as needed. Microsoft Office including MS Project Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of software and AutoCAD; FactoryFLOW, FactoryCAD, and Flow Planner software proficiency is a plus. DOE and Six Sigma Green Belt a plus
