ABOUT the Internship This 3-month , hands-on internship gives aspiring educators the opportunity to learn, adapt, and put their skills into practice all grounded in empathy for children. At the core of this initiative is the opportunity to evolve and make an impact while truly understanding students needs. At Seymo, our teachers spend equal time teaching and growing. This means you will: Teach Mathematics in low-income private schools (Grades 2 to 10) through engaging, concept-driven lessons that build confidence and understanding. Get Mentored & Mentor Peers alternate between being the lead teacher and a peer mentor, offering constructive feedback and receiving the same from others. Research & Innovate explore new teaching strategies, tools, and methods to make learning more effective and exciting. Practice Self-Reflection after each teaching or observation session, take a few minutes to pause, think, and capture your own takeaways: - What worked well for the students today? - Where did they struggle, and why? - What could I try differently next time? This is not about grading yourself its about understanding your impact and finding small, meaningful ways to Your personal insights are shared during weekly group meetings, turning individual experiences into shared growth for the whole team.
