Role & responsibilities Manage the Projects as a hands-on Employee using Technical & Administrative Skills to Oversee & Complete Engineering Projects. Proficient in Developing Unique Concepts & Designs to Support New & Existing Products using Tools (i.e., SolidWorks, Autodesk Tools). Interact in a multi-disciplinary team environment to achieve the best possible product from all functional viewpoints. Self-Starter, Comfortable working both independently & in a Multidisciplinary Team Environment. Ability to Communicate Technical & Design information to Stakeholders in Clear, Concise & Accurate Manner. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors/Master degree in Mechanical/Electrical engineering or Equivalent. Minimum 8 to 12 years related Experiences in Medium/High Voltage Switchgear Products like Reclosers, Capacitor Switch, AIS Switchgear, LBS, Switching & Fusing Products. Should have experience in New Design Product Development, Sustaining and product testing. Proficient user of Design Tools & Software (CAD, Solidworks, FEA, etc.) & Working knowledge of ANSI GD&T. Create Drawings based on ASME Y14.5M – 1994 Standards & Create Template based Models and Drawings. Knowledge in FEM Analysis. Knowledge in Electrical Simulation – Electric Field, Electrical Stress Knowledge in Mechanical Simulation – Mold Flow, Electro-Thermal, Stress, Mechanical, Failure Analysis. Should have experience in troubleshooting in MV/HV Products. Should have experience in type testing of MV/HV Switchgear Products as per IEC, ANSI, IEEE and testing on Fusing Products. Must Demonstrate consistent and sustainable application of problem solving and analytical skills. Knowledge in Casting Process (GDC, PDC) and APG Molding Process. Competent working with Microsoft Office & related software operating on a Windows platform
