The Video Editor will be responsible for editing video content tailored for news production, creating motion graphics, and enhancing visuals through color grading. The daily tasks include coordinating with production teams, ensuring content aligns with brand guidelines, and delivering polished video projects within specified timelines. Ensure visual continuity, logical flow and storytelling clarity (especially important in news segments) i.e., crafting the narrative via visuals Meet tight deadlines — especially for breaking news or live feeds; deliver edits quickly when required. Ensure the finished video meets the technical standards required for broadcast (format, resolution, audio-, brand/logo guidelines). Organise and manage video assets (footage, project files, archives) in a way that allows easy retrieval and reuse. Collaborate with reporters, producers, graphics/design team and other stakeholders – take feedback, make revisions. Stay updated on editing tools, techniques, broadcast/digital video trends and best practices.
