The role involves being responsible for the operations of independent production lines and finished goods packing. Additionally, you will be overseeing the administration of the production department and assisting in production data statistics. It is crucial to continuously strive for improvements in safety, quality, and productivity. Your main responsibilities will include adhering to HSE regulations and rules during daily operations to achieve the Goal Zero target. You will manage the day-to-day line operations according to the process order, including activities like line start-up, changeovers, line operation, and finished goods packing, ensuring high product quality. Verifying and ensuring zero defects in the quality of packaged finished goods is an essential part of the role. Recording and verifying each finished bag for issues such as cross-contamination, stitching, and stacking will also be required. Maintaining good housekeeping in the shop floor to meet the required basic conditions is necessary. You will also need to act as a reliever in the production department, keeping proper records of manpower availability during shifts and reporting to the shift leader. Monitoring and maintaining equipment operation conditions/calibrations of auto-bagging machines, stitching machines, weighing scales, etc., to eliminate irregularities is part of the role. Product identification on finished goods (product labeling) and conducting grade changeover activities as per SOPs are also expected. Participation in Lean/VEP activities, OE assessments, etc., is encouraged. The minimum qualifications for this role include a Diploma in Plastic or Polymer from a reputable college or university, along with at least one year of relevant work experience. Critical competencies or skills required include awareness of IATF 16949:2016 and EMS 14001:2015 standards, basic knowledge of MS Office, and good written and verbal communication skills. Competencies such as building partnerships, delivering results, driving innovation, growing capabilities, promoting inclusion, and having a motivational fit are highly valued.
