Job Summary

Deloitte Solutions is seeking a motivated Python Developer Intern to support software development activities, write Python code, assist with application testing, and work on programming tasks under the guidance of experienced team members.

This internship is suitable for candidates who have a foundational understanding of Python programming and are interested in gaining practical software development experience.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Write and maintain Python code for assigned development tasks.
• Assist in developing, testing, and debugging software applications.
• Apply basic programming concepts and object-oriented programming principles.
• Work with data structures, functions, modules, and exception handling.
• Assist with database operations using SQL.
• Identify and troubleshoot basic technical issues.
• Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation when required.
• Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements.
• Learn and apply relevant development tools and technologies.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of Python programming.
• Understanding of variables, loops, functions, classes, and exception handling.
• Familiarity with data structures and algorithms.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Basic debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn new tools and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Academic projects or personal projects involving Python are an advantage.
• Familiarity with Git, Django, Flask, or REST APIs is beneficial but not mandatory.

Salary and Internship Details

• Monthly stipend: ₹18,000–₹28,000.
• The final stipend will depend on the candidate's relevant skills and the terms of the internship.

• Any additional benefits or possibility of full-time employment after the internship will be communicated separately, if applicable.
