Job Summary: As a Hotel Room Attendant cum Housekeeping employee, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall hygiene standards of our hotel rooms and common areas. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment for guests, contributing to their positive experience during their stay. Key Responsibilities: Room Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform thorough cleaning of assigned hotel rooms according to established standards. Change bed linens, replace towels, and restock guest amenities. Ensure all surfaces, furniture, and fixtures are properly cleaned and sanitized. Identify and report any maintenance issues or damages in rooms to the appropriate department. Attention to Detail: Pay meticulous attention to detail to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and presentation. Check and replenish in-room supplies, such as toiletries and refreshments. Ensure proper arrangement of furniture and decor in alignment with hotel standards. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to coordinate efficient room turnover. Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to address any special guest requests or specific instructions. Guest Interaction: Respond promptly to guest requests for additional amenities or services. Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor while interacting with guests. Report any guest feedback or concerns to the housekeeping supervisor. Adherence to Standards: Follow established cleaning protocols and schedules. Adhere to safety and security procedures to maintain a secure environment for guests and staff. Comply with hotel policies and guidelines regarding cleanliness and hygiene. Qualifications and Skills: Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities. Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
