Hotel cashier

As a candidate for this position, you will be responsible for welcoming customers, answering their inquiries, assisting them in finding items, and offering advice or recommendations. Previous experience in the hotel industry will be required for this role. You will also be operating scanners, scales, cash registers, and other electronic devices. Your duties will include balancing the cash register, generating reports for credit and debit sales, processing refunds and exchanges, and resolving customer complaints. Additionally, you will be tasked with bagging or wrapping purchases to ensure their safe transport and following all store procedures related to coupons, gift cards, and the sale of restricted items like alcohol or cigarettes. It is essential that you maintain a clean workspace at all times. This is a full-time position, and the benefits include provided food. The preferred education level for this role is a Bachelor's degree. Candidates with at least 3 years of experience in cash handling will be preferred.
