VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT – HOSTEL WARDEN

CREATIVE MINDS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, SURAJGARHA, LAKHISARAI,BIHAR is an English medium, CBSE-affiliated school, invites applications for the post of Hostel Warden (Boys Hostel).

Eligibility & Qualifications (as per CBSE guidelines)

• Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Training/Certification in Student Counselling, Child Psychology, or Hostel Administration preferred.
• Fluency in English and Hindi with excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of First Aid, Fire Safety, and basic computer usage desirable.
• Candidates with B.Ed./Diploma in Hostel Administration/Certificate in Guidance & Counselling/M.Libs will be given preference.

Skills & Responsibilities

• Student Welfare & Supervision: Ensure discipline, safety, security, and emotional well-being of students residing in the hostel.
• Mess & Kitchen Management: Oversee quality, hygiene, and nutrition of food served; coordinate with mess staff to maintain proper dining schedules.
• Health & Safety Monitoring: Ensure medical needs, hygiene standards, and timely care for sick students; maintain first-aid readiness.
• Administrative Duties: Maintain hostel records (attendance, leave, discipline, health logs), manage inventory, and coordinate with school authorities.
• Counselling & Mentoring: Provide guidance, support, and address adolescent issues with sensitivity and care.
• Event & Routine Management: Organize hostel activities, study hours, roll calls, and ensure adherence to daily routines.
• Liaison: Act as a bridge between parents, school management, and hostel students for smooth communication.
• Discipline & Leadership: Handle conflicts, enforce hostel rules, and create a positive living environment.

Other Requirements

• Age: 25–40 years preferred.
• Prior experience as a hostel warden/matron in a CBSE/boarding school will be an added advantage.
• Must be willing to reside on campus and be available round-the-clock for emergencies.
