Plant Head Rubber Parts Moulding Company Location: Chennai We are a dynamic rubber parts moulding company seeking an experienced and results-driven Plant Manager to lead our production operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of products. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily operations of the plant to ensure smooth and efficient production. Optimize production processes to improve productivity and reduce waste. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Lead and mentor the production team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Ensure timely reporting of operational metrics to senior management. Liaise with customers and suppliers as necessary to resolve quality or delivery issues. Monitor production schedules, inventory, and resource allocation. Identify and implement strategies for cost savings and operational excellence. Lead daily operations of the plant to ensure efficient production and meet quality, delivery, and cost targets. Plan, organize, and monitor production schedules, materials management, and workflow. Ensure adherence to safety standards, compliance with environmental and labor regulations. Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, etc. Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of accountability and performance. Coordinate with R&D, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance departments to ensure product and process reliability. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions where needed. Qualifications: Proven experience in manufacturing, preferably in the rubber or molding industry. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to analyze data and drive decisions based on insights. Knowledge of production planning and lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
