Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled and experienced Induction Furnace Alloy Melter to join our Steel Melting Shop (SMS) operations at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Sreerampur. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in operating and managing induction furnaces, alloy melting processes, and maintaining metallurgical standards. Key Responsibilities: Operate and manage Induction Furnaces for alloy steel melting. Ensure charge preparation, furnace operation, temperature control, and alloy addition are done as per SOPs. Maintain metallurgical quality and productivity targets. Coordinate with lab, production planning, and other cross-functional teams. Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards in the melting process. Supervise and guide furnace helpers and shift crews. Maintain shift logs, consumption reports, and production records. Experience Required: Experience: Minimum 2 years to 7 years as Melter in a Steel Manufacturing Company (Induction Furnace preferred). Sound knowledge of melting practices, alloying, and furnace maintenance.
