Role & responsibilities Oversee end-to-end plant operations including production, maintenance, quality control, supply chain, and safety. Ensure that production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are met. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to drive efficiency and continuous improvement (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, TPM). Lead, coach, and manage plant staff, including department managers, supervisors, and workers. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and legal requirements. Monitor and control budgets, costs, and KPIs to achieve financial and operational goals. Coordinate with other departments such as Sales, R&D, Procurement, and HR to ensure alignment and operational support. Drive a culture of accountability, performance excellence, and innovation. Handle audits, inspections, and certifications (ISO, EHS, etc.). Maintain equipment, infrastructure, and processes to ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
